Awards presentation:
The award is a high academic honor, awarded to an independent laboratory director;
The award will be selected every two years, and no more than two candidates will be selected each time.
The candidates will receive a certificate of honor and a trophy from the Zhang Xiangtong Foundation, and be invited to give a conference report at the National Academic Conference of the Chinese Association for Neuroscience.
The Requirements:
1. Applicants should be young researchers with outstanding achievements in the field of neuroscience in China;
2. The applicant must work full-time in China (the only employer is the domestic employer);
3. Under the age of 45 in the year of participation (as of January 1);
4. The participation in the evaluation shall be completed entirely in China (not excluding reasonable international cooperation dominated by the applicant).

The award is for outstanding papers published by domestic graduate students as the first author in the field of neuroscience within the past two years.
The award is awarded every two years, with no more than eight candidates at a time;
The candidates will receive a certificate of honor and prize money at the National Academic Conference of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience.
The Requirements:
1. Applicants are postgraduate students who have studied or graduated for less than 2 years;
2. The first author and corresponding author should work in China full-time, and the publication date of participating papers should not be earlier than the deadline of the last award;
3. In order to carry forward Mr. Zhang Xiangtong's desire for the balanced development of neuroscience research in the whole country, the award for outstanding postgraduate thesis will be moderately tilted to the central and western universities.

To promote the development of neuroscience in China, reward outstanding researchers, and inspire young researchers to take an active role in neuroscience research, the Chinese Society for Neuroscience, in conjunction with Cell Signaling Technology (CST), established the Chinese Society for Neuroscience -CST Distinguished Neuroscientist Award.
The award, the highest academic honor of the Chinese Association for Neuroscience, recognizes individuals who have made important research achievements in the field of neuroscience and promoted the development of neuroscience in China in the past five years.
The award is awarded annually, with one winner at a time; The candidates will receive a trophy and certificate of honor jointly issued by Chinese Neuroscience Society and CST, with a bonus of 50,000 yuan/person. The candidates will be invited to give a presentation at the National Academic Conference of the Chinese Association for Neuroscience.
The Requirements:
1. The applicant must be a full member of the Chinese Society of Neuroscience with paid membership fee;
2. Outstanding academic level, senior title, independent project leader;
3. At least two directors jointly recommend; Director of the list;
4. The only employer in the past 5 years is a domestic employer (including institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutions, medical institutions, etc.);
5. The current president, vice president and secretary general of the association are not recommended;
6. He/she has won the Sanofi Neuroscience Outstanding Scholar Award in China within 10 years, or the Zhang Xiangtong Young Scientist Award in 2021-2023, which is not recommended.

The award to encourage youth science and technology workers of excellent academic papers published in society and make the wall paper of annual brand do show.
The Requirements:
1.Chinese graduate student or young scientist( less than 35 years old before January 1, 2021) could apply for th award (just one award);
2.Only up to three people are allowed apply for the award if you are the same research advisor or the same research group;
3.Prepare your abstract in English as the Example. The abstract must contains: title, names of authors, affiliated institutions, contact e-mail address, main text of abstract and key words. No images, tables, diagrams or graphs are allowed. The maximum number of characters for body is 2,000 (including the title, the names of authors, institutions, spaces, etc.)
4.Please upload relevant materials according to the tips: resume, the list of published papers and the first page of papers,ID cards and recommendation of your advisor.
5.You should make the poster by yourself 1.2m*0.9m if you apply for the award and please no author,school and advisor.
6.You must be the Member of CNS .Membership fees and registration fees has been paid.
7.Please not be absent from the meetings without cause or we will inform your advisor.

To promote the rapid development of neuroscience research in Asia-pacific region, Chinese Neuroscience Society and the Japanese Neuroscience Society (JNS) annually recommend outstanding young neuroscientists to attend each other's annual meetings, thus broadening young scientists’ horizon and cultivating international qualified scientists.
Facts:
- JNS’s Annual Meeting promotes interaction with relevant professional neuroscience societies in neighboring Asia-Pacific countries, the United States and Europe by organizing joint symposia and having a financial assistance program to cover travel costs.
- The Annual Meeting aims at fostering young scientists and promoting collaboration across the globe and various scientific fields including clinical neuroscience.
- JNS was founded in 1974. With more than 6,000 members in 2022, JNS is now a representative academic society in neuroscience in Japan.

Benefits:
- Travel Award winners will receive a partial support (80,000 JPY) and a free accommodation for 4 nights (a single room in a budget hotel).
- The meeting registration fee is waived.
- Travel Award winners are invited to the International Exchange Meeting for Young Researchers, a get-together party on the day before the Annual Meeting to facilitate interaction among young researchers from abroad and Japan.
- Travel Award winners are also invited to a reception during the Annual Meeting (if held).
Conditions:
- Recipients will receive the award at the meeting venue in Japanese yen.
- Accommodation at a designated hotel (check-out; 4 nights total) will only be covered. Recipients must bear all expenses if they stay at hotels of their own choice or stay extra nights.
- “The International Exchange Meeting for Young Researchers” is a mandatory event.
- Persons who do not attend the Annual Meeting and do not make a presentation will have their award revoked.

To facilitate scientific exchange between neuroscience students and young researchers from Europe and China, Chinese Neuroscience Society (CNS) and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) will support the attendance of CNS and FENS members to CNS’s annual meetings, respectively the FENS Forum.
Facts:
The award will be announced every two years with no more than three winners selected from each society. CNS will provide travel grants at a level of 4.000 EUR to its accepted members to attend FENS Forum.
